Never having used a web cam before, I found this extremely easy to install and use, right off the bat. Within minutes of installing it, we (the entire household) were able to clearly see and hear our far-away family in Olympia.

I bought another one for our daughter in Portland and convinced my writing teacher to get one, so he can teach via the internet.

We use it with Skype, which I had also never used before. It's free and easy.

I have been looking for a certain time for a MAC-compatible web cam. There are not many available and most of the time they are very expensive. This one offers the compatibility at a reasonable price. -- MAc compatible

I purchased this for my old 600Mhz G3 Ibook (10.3.9). That particular laptop only has USB 1.1. I purchased this so I can use this with Ichat (using iUSBCam v2.2.5 software). Everything works great! This camera is definitely worth the 29.95 I paid for it. By purchasing this camera you also get 5.00 off the purchase of the iUSBCam software. This setup is a great alternative to purchasing a firewire camera (iSight). Anyone with older hardware like me with definitely enjoy this camera. Just remember its a $29.95 camera so please do not expect a Mercedes at a Honda Civic price. -- Great for older iBooks/Powerbooks etc.
