This is a good-enough camera to get the job done. My daughter is in school in Europe and we Skype once a week with this. If you can handle the close-up detail, adjust the lens focus manually by turning the outer rim surrounding the lens. It took me a few minutes to realize that this manual feature was available after playing around with the Skype video settings.

There was no documentation in my box and no driver. This was not a problem with Windows and Skype.

Recommend this purchase and the seller was on schedule with delivery.

The CAM is easy to install to your USB port. Has a decent image resolution. Sometimes the image will go black. Not sure if this is a vid card issue. My laptop is kinda old. Keep in mind what the CAM costs. Only one problem..if your either you or the other party cant hear each other remove the audio cable. Not sure why this happens but you wont be able to hear the other person if that cable is hooked up. Wife using it to see her grandson and shes very pleased.
