This small webcam fits the bill! I have Windows 7 home premium. All I did was plugged it in and turned on Skype and checked the settings for video, It recognized it instantly. Very easy to use. Clear picture and the sound quality was perfect! The cord could be a bit longer though. Not sure how to use the dimmer control. And what's the clicker on the opposite side for? Wish it had more instructions on that. Skype has a slider control that allows you to brighten the video (gain) in the options setting for video.Not sure how well the webcam works with other programs. Overall I'm very happy with it. -- Instant access!

I bought this for my brother 3000 miles away so we could see each other over the phone and it works just fine. It has infrared lights to check for distance for focus and does a great job. Skype says the model did not exist even without downloading sa driver but it worked with or without the driver. I just wish all the cameras had some built in LED lights to shine on his face - the next generation. -- The Little Add on Camera

I bought this to use with my desk top to skype with my sons. Works great and is now fun to skype with my sons. It is not expensive and all that I needed to do was plug it into the computer for it to work. I use Linux and this works well with it. -- Fun and easy to use
